mun cheng won a lil hand puppet for getting all the correct answers for the past quiz!! yay mun cheng!!
Then there was a DDR match!! ( dance dance revolution ) Did you know the ps2 belongs to Edwin and one of the mats belong to Siau Ying :O?? Anyways, the girls won!!! it was 3 girls vs 3 guys in 3 rounds =D GIRLS WON ALL *bwahahahaha*

Then it was actstream time! joben led us in a wonderful time of praise and worship and he sang never stop,set me free and...another song which name escapes me. Then Shaun was the chairman!! and Amanda did tithes and offerings and after that Joben told his testimony about how God gave him a very good deal at nike :) how he bought a pair of shoes only finding that he could get another for FREE =C on the last day of the promotion you know!
Then it was time for the WORD OF GODDDD by our one and only

Teenacity started with the usual pre service prayer at 4.45pm :D and then EPIC started!

The game was about facing your fears and hopefully not swallowing the innocent little fishies. The game was, you were supposed to transport a fishy that's ALIVE from one bowl into another..using your MOUTH! Yes you're supposed to open your mouth, put a fish in it (only using your mouth,no hands) and spit it out at the other bowl and DO NOT swallow the fish at all costs @@..
The first pony in the world who attempted to put a fish in his mouth and succeeded :D
YAY PONISH! ( pony + fish = ponish )
the sad sad fish who had a traumatizing experience =C
imagine what they had to go through!! going in a humans mouth *gah*
some started swimming upside down after the experience..( seriously )
some very brave people who actually did it !
the bravest was LEE INKKIE :D who put in a 30 point fish in her mouth..the tail was sticking out of her mouth you know!! but thanks to her!! GIRLS BEAT THE GUYS * hwa hwa hwa *
Then, it was praise and worship :)! led by Philip we sang In Awe,Never Stop,Salvation is Here =D! After that, the wonderful bun bun ( baanu ) came up to chair and she was AWESOME..we wished Jared a big big HAPPY BDAY!!! and wern nie came up to do tithes and offering :)
It was then time for Pastor Andy to speak !! The message was about how faith is NOT afraid of fear! he took his scripture from Acts 3:1-10 about the lame man that got healed. Some of the important points that he said was, that one of the biggest hurdle in life = fear but actually fear = nothing! What we really need in life isn't loose change but a LASTING change which is Jesus Christ our Lord :) What we normally go through in life is
1)fear of rejection
2)fear of failure
3)fear of inadequacy
but we shouldn't be afraid of any of those..because we have Jesus to help us through any situation big or small =) So after the message, we had HUDDLE MAX!!! YEAH YEAH YEAH wooooooooo * runs in circles *
we had dinner which was provided :) either kuay teow or mee ;)
Can't you see their happy faces eating the food :D..??
Then we all WENT HOME YAY :D
p.s. did you ever see a pink eyed fly before? NOW U HAVE :D

Homes was great as usual ! As we all know, this time our Homes is happening on the 3rd Friday of the month instead of 2nd Friday. And yes this time we didn't go to Wee Liem's house to have our Homes. Why you ask ?? Cause its not Z !! Okay excuse my lame-ness here -.- as i was saying, this time we went to... *drum rolls* the Soh siblings house ! Yes because the Young Working Adults (YWA) are also having their Homes on the 3rd week of Friday and it happens to be at Wee Liem's house too !! But.. but its not really a bad news to us cause we've got the privilege to visit the Soh siblings house for the very first time ! So try imagining our jakun-ish faces once we stepped in to their house xD while waiting for everyone to arrive, we saw some of the Soh sibling's pictures when they were still young !! Gosh they looked TOTALLY different now when compared to last time o.o soon everyone arrived and Jared, being our game master of the night started Homes with his crazy games ! First, he'll give us 4 elements representing different kinds of animals and the elements are fire, water, air and earth. Insects are under the element of fire, animals that only lives in water are under the element of water, flying animals are categorized under the element of air and animals that lives on land are under the earth element. Its something like the pokemon style, which type of pokemon under which type of element. After that, the game master will start off the game by pointing at his target, once he points at someone he'll say out the element he wants for example water and he'll start counting from 1-15 in a VERY SUPER fast speed ! And the targeted person for example Darren has to say out one animal that lives in water (fish/shark/seahorse dan lain-lain) before the game master finish counting. If you can't manage to say out the name of the animal then it'll be the person's turn to do whatever the game master just did. Don't get it ? Confused ? Don't worry its normal, cause none of us get it when the game started and all of us just got panic/tensed-up/blur and confused with the kinds of animals under which type of element :D cause the person will be counting in a very fast speed and of course.. the pressure is there :p plus all of us are still not familiar with the type of elements representing which kind of animals that we got all of them mixed up xD Darren suggested we should go to Zoo for our next trip cause someone (will not reveal the name) said elephant when we're suppose to say an animal that lives in water xD yup the game brought lots of laughter to us and it was so far the BEST game we've ever played during Homes (for me lah :p)
Finally the game comes to an end and Darren led us in Praise & Worship. This time we went classic :) we sang Lift Your Name on High and This Is My Desire without any instruments :O but who care's :) later Siau Ying shared the message about Naked but NOT Ashamed done by Pastor Andy few weeks ago. It was indeed a good message to share with and all of us took turns to share our past life's and problem without feeling ashamed and putting/wearing our mask on. After that, Darren led us in communion.
After the sharing and everything (oh it rhymes :D) we had pizza and 7-DOWN.. i mean.. 7-UP for supper ! Thanks to the Ooi sisters Amanda and Avryl *gives them a round of applause* we finish up 2 whole boxes of LARGE pizza's even tho all of us already had our dinner at home before we came. Look at the BIG BIG appetite we have :p *fats* haha later Darren became the tour guide (like duhh) to bring us "explore" his wonderful house :D hohoho only people who has been to the Soh siblings house before will know how their house looks like especially their rooms xD i know some of you guys out there who hasn't been to their house before are jealous of us xD muahahaha anyway, its time for us to help clean up the place and head home.
We had a total number of 8 people attended Homes on Friday, Siau Ying, Vanessa, Amanda, Avryl, Elaine, Eilene, Darren and Jared, which makes 6 girls and 2 guys :D awesome-ness huh :) so what if we don't have FULL attendance ?? We still had fun and manage to gather and chat together like a family :) TN3 Homes = FUN + Awesome + Wonderful ^^

First we had ice-breaker done by Jared. This game was called *drum roll* Elemental Control! I believe most of you know that there are 4 elements in this world, so for this game, each element represents something:
Water - Creatures living in the water
Fire - Insects
Air - Flying creatures excluding insects and birds that can't fly
Earth - Everything that lives on land
It starts by 1 person will point at another person. The person who points have to say 1 of the elements have count 15 counts. And the person that is pointed have to say an animal that represents the element. And here we go. I can't really say the whole process, but there are some funny parts. First, when Amanda was pointed to water, she actually said dragonfly, and we started wondering. Next was Eilene who said elephant when she was also pointed to water, we were like "HUH?! Elephant live in water?! Ohhh bathing bathing!!" The game was fun and rather challenging, we have to think really fast.
Next up, we had Praise and Worship done by our own Darren Soh. We were supposed to have a guitarist but he didn't come. We sang Lord I Life Your Name on High and This Is My Desire. We did communion after that, led by Darren.
After that, we had discussion time led by Siau Ying. We discussed about the message "Naked & Unashamed", we were challenged to take off our mask and start being real with God because hiding away will separate us from God. Then, each of us started sharing stuff we did that makes us put on a mask. I believe everyone felt better after opening up and stop hiding everything. After sharing, we prayed for those who need prayer request.
Then we had 2 large pizza placed in front of us jsut for us to savour. Drinks were 7Up. This wonderful meal you're hearing is brought by Amanda and Avryl. We ended around 10.30pm and of course everyone knows, we went back.
