As you can see, I am happily connected through FREE Wi-Fi here at D'Village Resort, Ayer Keroh Melaka! I was the first to arrive with Jay, Matthew Lai, and Cheryl, and then our mighty camp commandant, Alvin Keng, Joel Vijay, Joy Lee, and some others got here too. The rest are still travelling in 5 buses on their way here. They'll be here soon enough!
Alright, we're gonna get rolling. There's a reason why we're here early: WORK!
See....?
Haha...just kidding.... :P
It's gonna be an awesome camp! I just know it! (This time, I'm not kidding!)
The Unforgettable Pre-camp Briefing CUM Birthday Bash

It can be really exciting to do something extraordinary once in a while. And that was what happened at Teenacity last Saturday, only that the extraordinary thing that happened wasn't planned.
The scene: A quarter before 5PM, teens were busy getting ready for Teenacity Pre-camp Briefing CUM Teenacity 1st Birthday Bash (Happy Birthday Teenacity!). So much will be happening on that Saturday, and everything was ready. We were ready to usher 200 campers into Acts Church. So exciting.
Then suddenly, everything became black. No, we didn't plan for a private party. And no, no plans were made to create a spooky and camp-y atmosphere in Acts Church. After a second, we realised: It's a blackout. Now, God? Leaders got together to pray, and so did the teens.
The blackout didn't stop Praise & Worship. Everyone praised and worshipped God in the dark, how great is that! JoBen went on with announcements and Cheryl Soh even shared a testimony! Nothing stops Teenacity from going on!
Ps Andy shared a bit about the word "Relentless", our camp theme this year. After that, a huge chocolate cake was prepared to celebrate Teenacity's birthday. The candle on the cake seemed to be burning extremely bright then. Ps Kenneth prayed over Teenacity and the congregation of teens, although he couldn't see anyone in the congregation. Blessed are those who couldn't see yet believe.
Alvin Keng, our Camp Commandant and Darren Soh, our Assistant Camp Commandant began the pre-camp briefing. Both of them really used all their might and voices to brief the campers. Before going on with workshops registration and camp fees payment, Alvin said a prayer. And there was light. The electricity was back! Praise God for that! Registration and payment were definitely done much smoothly with the lights back.
After the prayer, campers packed different workshop booths and paid up their camp fees. Then they gathered according to their groups for further discussion and planning. After that, teens are welcomed to have refreshments.
So, that was about what happened at Teenacity last Saturday. Fun? It was. Although it was a little too dark, it gave the camp-y feeling, didn't it? Don't worry, camp will be much better. :)
Teenacity Relentless Camp is in less than 24 hours!!! ARE YOU EXCITED??
I am!! Signing off, see you at MELAKA! ;)
