Homes was great as usual ! As we all know, this time our Homes is happening on the 3rd Friday of the month instead of 2nd Friday. And yes this time we didn't go to Wee Liem's house to have our Homes. Why you ask ?? Cause its not Z !! Okay excuse my lame-ness here -.- as i was saying, this time we went to... *drum rolls* the Soh siblings house ! Yes because the Young Working Adults (YWA) are also having their Homes on the 3rd week of Friday and it happens to be at Wee Liem's house too !! But.. but its not really a bad news to us cause we've got the privilege to visit the Soh siblings house for the very first time ! So try imagining our jakun-ish faces once we stepped in to their house xD while waiting for everyone to arrive, we saw some of the Soh sibling's pictures when they were still young !! Gosh they looked TOTALLY different now when compared to last time o.o soon everyone arrived and Jared, being our game master of the night started Homes with his crazy games ! First, he'll give us 4 elements representing different kinds of animals and the elements are fire, water, air and earth. Insects are under the element of fire, animals that only lives in water are under the element of water, flying animals are categorized under the element of air and animals that lives on land are under the earth element. Its something like the pokemon style, which type of pokemon under which type of element. After that, the game master will start off the game by pointing at his target, once he points at someone he'll say out the element he wants for example water and he'll start counting from 1-15 in a VERY SUPER fast speed ! And the targeted person for example Darren has to say out one animal that lives in water (fish/shark/seahorse dan lain-lain) before the game master finish counting. If you can't manage to say out the name of the animal then it'll be the person's turn to do whatever the game master just did. Don't get it ? Confused ? Don't worry its normal, cause none of us get it when the game started and all of us just got panic/tensed-up/blur and confused with the kinds of animals under which type of element :D cause the person will be counting in a very fast speed and of course.. the pressure is there :p plus all of us are still not familiar with the type of elements representing which kind of animals that we got all of them mixed up xD Darren suggested we should go to Zoo for our next trip cause someone (will not reveal the name) said elephant when we're suppose to say an animal that lives in water xD yup the game brought lots of laughter to us and it was so far the BEST game we've ever played during Homes (for me lah :p)
Finally the game comes to an end and Darren led us in Praise & Worship. This time we went classic :) we sang Lift Your Name on High and This Is My Desire without any instruments :O but who care's :) later Siau Ying shared the message about Naked but NOT Ashamed done by Pastor Andy few weeks ago. It was indeed a good message to share with and all of us took turns to share our past life's and problem without feeling ashamed and putting/wearing our mask on. After that, Darren led us in communion.
After the sharing and everything (oh it rhymes :D) we had pizza and 7-DOWN.. i mean.. 7-UP for supper ! Thanks to the Ooi sisters Amanda and Avryl *gives them a round of applause* we finish up 2 whole boxes of LARGE pizza's even tho all of us already had our dinner at home before we came. Look at the BIG BIG appetite we have :p *fats* haha later Darren became the tour guide (like duhh) to bring us "explore" his wonderful house :D hohoho only people who has been to the Soh siblings house before will know how their house looks like especially their rooms xD i know some of you guys out there who hasn't been to their house before are jealous of us xD muahahaha anyway, its time for us to help clean up the place and head home.
We had a total number of 8 people attended Homes on Friday, Siau Ying, Vanessa, Amanda, Avryl, Elaine, Eilene, Darren and Jared, which makes 6 girls and 2 guys :D awesome-ness huh :) so what if we don't have FULL attendance ?? We still had fun and manage to gather and chat together like a family :) TN3 Homes = FUN + Awesome + Wonderful ^^
