So, what’s the special surprise that awaited us in Teenacity last Saturday?
‘ONE-ted’ was IN THE HOUSE!!
The quintet, which is wanted for a reward of $10 000, performed 3 songs for us for Teenacity’s pre-easter service. They rock! And so did Mun Teng, who chaired last week’s service and Joannah, who did tithes and offering. Ps. Andy also shared about ‘our worth’. Read on to know what it’s all about.
Ever felt like there’s no one in the world who cares about your existence? Ever wondered if YOU matter? Well, here’s the good news. Yes, someone does love and care about you very much. He is none other than God.
How do we know God loves us? He created us out of love. The Bible says He finds delight in all that we are and rejoices over us (Zephaniah 3:17). We are God’s masterpieces, made in His own image (Genesis 1:27), and He loves us – not just with any other ordinary love, but with an everlasting love! (Jeremiah 31:3)
Need more conviction?
We all know the familiar scripture in John 3:16 “For God so love the world that He gave his one and only son”. God sees you as someone worthy to die for. He gave us His best, His all, His one and only begotten Son. If there was a price tag on you, it would read “paid with the blood of Christ”. Because you, yes YOU, are worth more than all the riches of this world!
So the next time someone says something unkind about you, don’t look down and feel discouraged. Instead, tell them that you are worth the cross. But remember that Jesus died for your friends too, so treat them with love and respect. And don't forget to tell them about the awesome God who loves you and them too!
