Jack led us in praise and worship we sang, Free,You Deserve and Stronger :)
We had communion led by Pastor Andy, reminding us all about what communion is really about :)
After that, we had Tithes and Offerings and a wonderful testimony from..
Cheryl Soh Zhixin!!
She had TWO testimonies
1 - she got a super duper H20 Award in her school which stands for...Honesty, Hardworking and Obedience hahah! Awesomeness to da max right??
2 - she and her friends entered a photo competition and won a trip to LANGKAWI! Right after her PMR examinations so she can relax..I also want :(
After that, Elder Kien Yiak shared the message and a few points were...
* God doesn't just want us to rant , he wants us to ask
* We tend to forget what we have in the house, we are not a lone ranger
* Too often we think our value is 0 whereas we actually have something that's of value
* Out lives are in God's hands. Thus, everything is under control
* We need to understand that we're serving a God of so much more :)
* We have to shut the door of accusation and past
After the superb message, there was Homes Lite ! This coming friday, 10th October there will be 3 Home Parties!
TN1+TN5 - meet at SS14 - Mun Teng's hose
TN2+TN3 - meet at USJ18 - Rekha's house
TN4 - meet at Baanu's/Wendy's ( To be confirmed )
Remember to bring the food that you're assigned to, if you wanna bring more, just bring ! Hahaha :) most importantly, remember to call up your buddies to invite them!
And remember to call up your home leaders if you need transportation! Try not to be last minute! ;)
